If a leaf does not have a default clause, we get a delete op code. Is this the expected behavior from a NETCONF perspective to set a leaf to a default state upon a delete operation. I would have thought it would be an invalid operation to delete a leaf, and would think the rpc result would have been an error. Any info on this would be appreciated. Sample yang: grouping remote-syslog-group { list syslog-ip { max-elements "2"; key "ip-address"; leaf ip-address { type string; mandatory true; description "ip-addr."; } } } I already have 2 elements defined - and when I add a new element I get rpc ok, but the change does not take effect, and the commit responds with ok - but I get no callback. If you experience this behavior on the latest devel branch, file it as a bug for Netopeer2. Regards, Lukas From: sysrepo-devel [mailto:sysrepo-devel-bounces at sysrepo.org] On Behalf Of Joan Landry Sent: Thursday, January 26, 2017 3:04 PM To: sysrepo-devel at sysrepo.org Subject: [sysrepo-devel] max element not working in list with only one leaf I have found that the max-element does not work correctly with a list with only a key as a leaf. Please confirm if this is a possibly a bug. The end result is the 3rd invalid entry is ignored. This is the 2 elements already in the datastore: ?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> 2.4.4.8 2.3.4.8 Request is sent to add a 3rd element: netopeer2-server[30413]: Session 1: received message:
